For your initial course of Laser Hair Removal treatment, we recommend approximately 8-12 sessions, spaced 4-5 week apart (depending on the area and skin tone).

Preparation

Shave
Shave the treatment area the night before your appointment to avoid any reaction to the heat of the laser.

No Wax
Do not wax in the 4 weeks leading up to your appointment as pigment is required in the hair follicle for the laser to identify the hair and treatment to be effective.

Avoid direct sunlight
Avoid exposing the area to direct sunlight for a minimum of 2-4 weeks prior to your treatment and always protect the skin with sunscreen.

Aftercare

Things to avoid
For 24 hours post-treatment, avoid shaving, waxing, or plucking hair, exfoliation, excessive sweating, swimming or saunas, very hot showers, and tight restrictive clothing.
Avoid exposing the area to direct sunlight for minimum 2-4 weeks after your treatment and always use sunscreen to avoid any pigmentation.

Important info

Shave the treatment area at least 12-24 hours prior to your appointment
Avoid chemical peels or laser resurfacing treatments at least 4 weeks before your appointment
Exfoliate the treatment area at least 3 days before your appointment
Ensure no residue fake tan is present on the skin
Avoid excessive sun exposure on the area being treated two weeks prior (including solarium or tanning drugs)
Do not wax, use depilatory creams or pluck hairs four weeks prior to laser treatment
